Terms of Service
Last updated: August 16, 2026
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, purchasing or using ScreenPact, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.
2. License grant
ScreenPact grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on compatible devices you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, circumvent licensing, or reverse engineer the software except where applicable law expressly permits it.
3. Trial and purchase
The software includes a 14-day trial. No credit card is required to begin the trial. A lifetime license permits continued use of the purchased compatible version and includes v1.x updates; it does not guarantee future major versions or separate products.
4. Payment and refunds
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record and are also subject to the terms and refund information shown at checkout. The 14-day trial is provided so a family can test compatibility before purchase. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory refund or consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
5. Parent responsibility
You are responsible for installation, keeping the parent passcode and license key private, choosing appropriate family rules, maintaining administrator control and confirming that internet access is restored before removing the software or repurposing the PC.
6. Availability and warranties
The software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Early releases can contain defects, and Windows, network equipment or third-party security software can affect operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScreenPact is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from installation, use, inability to use, interrupted network access or loss of local settings. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Updates and termination
We may publish fixes, security updates or revised system requirements. You may stop using ScreenPact at any time by completing the authorized uninstall flow. We may terminate a license for material breach or fraudulent use, subject to applicable law.
9. Applicable law and contact
ScreenPact is operated from Canada. These terms are interpreted under applicable Canadian law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply in your place of residence. Questions can be sent to support@screenpact.com.
